This lovely, cosy 1 bedroom flat, on the ground floor is ideally located just a few minutes walk away from the heart of Edinburgh's bustling and lively Old Town - The Grassmarket - and just round the corner from the Usher Hall and Lyceum Theatre (and more!). You're just a few minutes walk from the EICC and Edinburgh's financial centre.

Facilities

The Living Room has a leather sofabed and a dining table which can sit up to 4. There is a flat screen television with digital Freeview, DVD player and a Hi-Fi system.

As well as a small selection of books, DVDs and CDs for your enjoyment there is also "plug-in" broadband available for guest use.

The Double Bedroom has a kingsize bed. A hairdryer and radio alarm are supplied for your use.

The fitted Kitchen is equipped with an electric hob and oven, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, fridge, freezer and washing machine/drier.

The Shower room is tiled and fitted with a large shower enclosure with a powerful mains shower. There is a continuous hot water supply.

All rooms are accessed from the Hall which has the telephone entry system.

Local Area


Spittal Street gets its name from the site of either a hospital or an ancient charity (The Knight's Hospitallers) which would have been a place of care for the poor and desitute of old Edinburgh.

The property is located off Lothian Road in the centre of Edinburgh. A 5 minute walk takes you to the heart of Edinburgh's Old Town - the historic Grassmarket - with its plentiful array of lively pubs, clubs and restaurants. It's less than a 10 minute walk up to the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle and around a 5 minute walk to the West End of Princes Street.

If you like theatre then you can take your pick from the Usher Hall, the Lyceum Theatre and the Traverse which are all just a minute's walk away. The Festival Theatre and Edinburgh University are about 15 minutes walk away.

The EICC and Edinburgh's financial district are just on your doorstep.

Prices from £ 350 to £ 600 per week.

Short breaks from 2 nights upwards are available, although minimum rentals of 3 or 4 nights will apply during Christmas/New Year, Easter, rugby internationals and August.


For all our self catering apartments in Edinburgh, prices include:

  • Towels and linen.
  • Gas and electricity.
  • A selection of coffee, tea, milk and sugar for your arrival.
