Brandon Street is actually a continuation of Hanover and Dundas Street which
run straight from Princes Street. It's about a 10 minute walk to Princes Street but
if you don't fancy the short walk up the hill then the area is served by a very regular
bus service (from directly outside the front door) which helps take the strain. There is a Tesco supermarket about 5 minutes walk away
and the quaint and trendy shops and bars of Stockbridge are about 5 minutes walk away too.
The beautiful Victorian Glenogle Baths are on the edge of Stockbridge, about 400 metres
from the apartment - they still retain the classic feature of the Victorian Period. The Water of
Leith footpath is nearby, offering the visitor a tranquil walk through, what would seem to be, beautiful Scottish countryside in the centre of a city!
